Board

Shai Saul – Chairman of the Board

Shai spent years developing technological ideas into global companies, predominantly in the Internet, networking and semiconductors spaces, his primary investment focus areas. He has been with DFJ Tamir Fishman Ventures since 1999.

His operational experience includes acting as CEO for cleantech vendor Ganot between 1993 and 1994. He then joined Aladdin Knowledge Systems (NASDAQ: ALDN, acquired by SafeNet), a leading provider of digital security solutions, as Executive Vice President. In 2001, he acted as CEO for home networking chip vendor CopperGate Communications, where he also acted as Chairman of the Board from 2000, to its acquisition in 2009 by Sigma Design (NASDAQ: SIGM).

His current board positions include networking vendor Allot Communications (NASDAQ ticker: ALLT), chip vendor EZchip (NASDAQ: EZCH), and visual search innovator SuperFish, among others. His past investments and board positions include Native Networks (acquired by Alcatel), Voltaire (acquired by Mellanox, NASDAQ: MLNX) and Wave Systems (NASDAQ: WAVX).

Uri Adoni – Director

Uri joined JVP with extensive experience in internet and new media, gleaned from his prior position as the CEO of MSN Israel.

During the nearly ten years Uri has been one of the new media pioneers who saw the many stages that internet, mobile and TV went through. Working for Microsoft during these fascinating times, Uri was also part of some major international marketing and business challenges in fields such as search engines vs. Google, instant messaging vs. AOL and Yahoo and many other challenges.

Prior to his work at Microsoft, Uri was a partner and a co-CEO at Geller-Nessis Leo Burnett Advertising Agency, working with leading brands such as Coca Cola, Procter & Gamble, Nokia, Philips and Energizer. Prior to that, he was a senior strategic planner at Fogel-Levin / Ogilvy Israel, working with brands such as IBM, Unilever, Adidas, Philip Morris and others. In both companies he was highly involved in the creative process, working closely together with the creative teams, directors, editors and production houses. His vast experience in advertising and strategic planning, gave him the position of an “evangelist” in the fast growing online advertising market.

Uri is a board member of Celltick, ignitAd, MegaLearning and Qlipso.

Uri holds a BA in political science from Tel Aviv University, a professional music degree from the Rimon School of Music, and an MBA from Manchester University.

Zvika Bronstein – Advisory Board Member

Zvika has been a member of ignitAd’s advisory board since its early days, assisting in shaping ignitAd’s solution and marketing strategy, and contributing from his vast experience in several leading technology companies.

Zvika spent most of his professional career developing leading edge breakthrough products and solutions. Graduating in the early 1980 from Stanford University, Zvika joint HP development team for the company’s first PC. Zvika led the development of numerous data communication products and played a key role in Nicecom, the first startup company to be acquired (by 3Com) in the Israeli hi-tech market. Zvika led the local R&D organization of 3Com and then co-founded and led the R&D of Atrica, a Carrier-Ethernet pioneer. Zvika is a strategic thinker, and apart from consulting to technology companies and non-profit organizations, his expertise and current occupation includes Computer and Communication Network architecture and advanced communication solutions.
