ignitAd’s yield-optimization solution monetizes non-guaranteed display inventory by dynamically auctioning it across multiple ad exchanges, networks and DSPs. We provide publishers with a self-service solution that will maximize their display ad revenue. Our sophisticated optimization algorithms can proactively predict the highest paying advertising source for each impression and reach optimal revenue for the whole inventory.

This statement applies to ignitAd’s information collection and use policies with respect to use of the Site and Service. By using this Site or the Service you consent to the data practices described in this Statement.

Information We Collect

When you visit our Web site you may provide us with personally identifiable information you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis. When you visit our customers’ Web sites, you may provide us with non-personally identifiable information collected on an aggregate basis.

Personally identifiable Information (“PII”)

Our customers are asked to provide the following: Name, Company Name, Mailing Address, Email Address, Phone Number, Basic Site Information (URL, Channel, Impression Traffic), Username, Tax I.D. Number and Password.

In addition, if you choose to correspond with us through email or blog postings, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses.

Non-Personally identifiable Information (“Non-PII”)

Similar to other commercial Web sites, we collect information about how customers’ Web sites are used and to determine user response to advertisements and promotions.

Non-PII collected includes the following: IP address, domain, browser type and language, referring Web site addresses, date/time of visits, page view data, and search keywords. Non-PII is collected using the following standard web technologies:

  • “Cookies” are data files, which often include an anonymous unique identifier, sent to your browser from a web site and they are pieces of information that are placed on an individual’s computer hard drive to enable the individual to more easily communicate and interact with the Service and Web Site. Cookies can only be read by the party placing the cookie, they cannot erase or alter any of your data and they do not include personal data. ignitAd may use cookies to save certain information about a User and others who visit the ignitAd Web Site, in order to facilitate and enhance future activities with the Service and/or Web Site. ignitAd does not use cookies to retrieve information from a computer that is unrelated to the Service.
  • We may use an outside advertising company to display advertisements on the Site and Service. These ads may contain cookies. The advertisement company may collect cookies received with outside ad banners. We do not have access to information that would confirm the use of cookies by the advertising company.
  • ignitAd uses both session cookies and persistent cookies. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive after you close your browser. Persistent cookies may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the site. Persistent cookies can be removed by following your web browser’s directions. A session cookie is temporary and disappears after you close your browser. You can reset your web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some features of the Service may not function properly if the ability to accept cookies is disabled.
  • “Log files” track actions occurring on Sites and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, click data and types of advertisements viewed.
  • “Web beacons” or “Pixels” are electronic files used to track your navigation of a website or collection of sites, the completion of transactions, submittal of applications and browsing behavior. When you use the Service, we may employ clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons) which are used to track the online usage patterns of our users anonymously. No personally identifiable information from your ignitAd account is collected using these clear gifs. In addition, we may also use clear gifs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened by recipients. The information is used to enable more accurate reporting, improve the effectiveness of our marketing, and make ignitAd better for our users.
  • “IP Addresses” – An Internet Protocol address is a number that’s automatically assigned to a computer when using the Internet. Web servers can automatically identify individual computers by their IP address. ignitAd may collect IP addresses to:
    • Facilitate system administration;
    • Diagnose system problems;
    • Report aggregate User information; and
    • Avoid hacking attacks on the ignitAd server.

    ignitAd does not link IP addresses to any personally identifiable information, even if such information is voluntarily provided by a User.

Collectively these technologies enable us to better understand and segment our customers’ audiences on an aggregate basis. Cookies do not allow us to gather any personal information about you and we do not store any personal information that you provided to us in your cookies.

How We Use The Information

Broadly speaking, while we may collect and use personal information such as email address, name and phone number for purposes of administering and expanding our business activities, providing customer service and making available other products and services to our customers and prospective customers; our core business services rely on non-PII collected to match advertisers and website publishers. This benefits web users by enabling advertisers to deliver ad content that is relevant to interests or to respect a user’s preference to not receive certain advertisements.

Occasionally, we may also use the information we collect to notify you about important changes to our Web site, new services and special opportunities we think you will find valuable. You may notify us at any time if you do not wish to receive these offers by emailing us at contact@ignitAd.com.

Any personal information or content that you voluntarily disclose for posting to the Service, if applicable, becomes available to the public. If you remove such content, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other users have copied or stored it.

By providing ignitAd your email address you consent to our using the email address to send you Service-related notices, including any notices required by law, in lieu of communication by postal mail. We may also use your email address to send you other messages, such as newsletters, changes to features of the Service, or special offers.

ignitAd may use certain information about you without identifying you as an individual to third parties. We do this for purposes such as analyzing how the Service is used, diagnosing service or technical problems, maintaining security, producing industry reports on advertising trends, and personalizing advertisements and promotions.

ignitAd reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor any content you post on the Service. ignitAd has the right to remove any such information or material for any reason or no reason, including without limitation, if in its sole opinion, such information or material violates, or may violate, any applicable law or our End User License Agreement/Terms Of Use or to protect or defend its rights or property or those of any third party. ignitAd also reserves the right to remove information upon the request of any third party.

We use cookies, clear gifs, and log file information to: (a) remember information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit the site; (b) provide custom, personalized advertising, content, and information; © monitor the effectiveness of our service; (d) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors and traffic; (e) diagnose or fix technology problems reported by our users or engineers that are associated with the IP addresses controlled by a specific web company or ISP; and (f) help you efficiently access your information after you sign in.

How We Share The Information

As indicated above, we do not collect PII except when provided voluntarily by visitors to our Web site. We do not rent, sell or disseminate PII to third parties for promotional purposes without consent. We will only share this voluntarily-provided PII:

  • to enable third party service providers to assist or facilitate in the services we provide;
  • to comply with applicable laws and regulations or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, whether or not a response is required by applicable law;
  • to enforce an agreement or to protect our rights; with any parent, affiliated or successor entity;
  • in connection with any asset sale, transfer, divestiture or liquidation;
  • in connection with strategic alliances, partnerships or other business arrangements to permit the offering of products or services we think may be of interest to you or where we have determined that the information will be used in a responsible manner by the third party; or
  • as permitted under any agreement with you.

ignitAd allows third-party ad servers or ad networks to serve advertisements, or may itself serve advertisements, through the Service to ignitAd’s customers’ websites. These ad servers or ad networks use technology to send advertisements and links directly to the end user’s browser. They automatically receive the end user’s IP address when this happens. They may also use other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons) to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and to personalize the advertising content.

ignitAd does not provide any personally identifiable information to these ad servers or ad networks. However, please note that if an advertiser asks ignitAd to show an advertisement to a certain audience and an end user responds to that advertisement, the advertiser or ad-server may conclude that the end user fits the description of the audience they are trying to reach.

The end user should consult the respective privacy policies of third-party ad servers or ad networks. The ignitAd privacy policy does not apply to, and we cannot control the activities of, third-party advertisers. Any solicitation of personal information through such advertisements is strictly between the advertiser and end user.

Your Choices

You may request access to all your voluntarily-provided PII that we collected online and maintain in our database by emailing contact@ignitAd.com. To discontinue receiving updates or newsletters from us, or the sharing of any of your information with third parties (other than as may be necessary for compliance purposes or to protect our rights) contact contact@ignitAd.com.

How We Protect The Information

We use appropriate measures to ensure the security of all Information, including the use of passwords, firewalls, encryption and remote servers, and routinely evaluate our practices to identify security threats or opportunities for the improvement of our services. No transmission of information is guaranteed to be completely secure. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise data security. You acknowledge and agree to assume this risk when communicating with us.
